Meeting Information

Our monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:30 pm (except November because of Thanksgiving week and February, which is our society’s member dinner) at the Shepard Garden and Art Center (in McKinley Park), 3330 McKinley Blvd., Sacramento, California 95816.

Membership in the Joan Coulat – Sacramento Branch of the American Begonia Society and the American Begonia Society entitles you to receive our monthly newsletter of news, events, and meeting announcements, attend meetings, participate in drawings and plant giveaways, join us for field trips, and other cool stuff.

New memberships are available in person at our regular meetings or by mail. Meetings at the Begonia Society of Sacramento are fun; we have a lively crowd. Our membership includes people of all ages who show up for an informative slide show, panel discussion, and cultivation demonstrations. There is a drawing for plants and a show-and-tell table with an informative discussion of the plants on display, refreshments, and more.
